School and District Classroom License Terms

This page explains the KeyShortcuts annual School and District classroom-use license. It applies to the approved Office/Google Workspace and operating-system PDF packs available in the teacher library. It does not remove existing permissions to use or print free public resources and does not convert individual consumer purchases into organization-wide licenses.

School license

During an active annual School license, authorized teachers and staff may print and distribute approved classroom materials to currently enrolled students at the named licensed school for instructional use. The license covers one school, not other schools, outside organizations or a whole district. The approved School subscription price is $99 USD per year. The library shows the paid annual term and renewal or end date.

District license

During an active annual District license, authorized educators may print and distribute approved classroom materials to students at the schools explicitly covered by the agreed district scope. The owner and purchaser agree that scope and price before an invoice is issued. Access begins after verified invoice payment. District renewal is a new agreed annual invoice rather than automatic standardized public pricing. Additional schools require agreement; public redistribution is not included.

Restrictions

No commercial resale, public website redistribution, public uploading of paid PDFs, sublicensing, or distribution outside the licensed school/district scope is granted. Private teacher access links may be shared only with authorized staff at the licensed organization. A bearer link is confidential; contact the owner if access is misused. Revoked or expired licenses cannot obtain new paid-only downloads. Annual access and updated resources are available only during the paid term.

Renewal and cancellation

School annual subscriptions renew through Stripe. The purchaser can manage the payment method, view invoices and cancel the next renewal through the private purchaser billing portal. Cancellation at period end preserves the already-paid term. A failed renewal does not extend that term. New paid-only downloads stop after expiration; expired licenses do not authorize continued classroom redistribution. Contact the owner for renewal assistance or district scope changes. This page does not introduce a new refund policy or guarantee legal enforceability.

Free resources and privacy

Free educator/student resources, free guides and their currently permitted classroom uses stay free. No student accounts, rosters, student personal information, grades or assignment tracking are required. Adult organization, purchaser/contact and billing details are used to administer the license and inquiries. No FERPA or COPPA compliance guarantee is made.

KeyShortcuts is an independent reference, not a school partner or accredited institution. Shortcut behavior can vary by software version and managed-device policy.
